IS claims responsibility for Oman mosque attack that killed 1 Indian

Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the shooting incident near a Shiite mosque in Oman's Muscat, officials said. The attack killed one Indian and five others and injured about 30 people. The three gunmen were also killed. The attack came as Shiites this week mark Ashura, an annual mourning day commemorating the death of Imam Hussain in a battle.
