Is sleep more important for longevity than diet or exercise?

A nationwide OHSU study in SLEEP Advances found that getting at least seven hours of sleep is one of the strongest predictors of life expectancy. This is ranking above diet, exercise and social connection, second only to smoking. People with shorter sleep durations showed consistently lower lifespans, highlighting sleep as a key longevity factor.
