Dr Brunda M S from Aster CMI Hospital, while noting benefits, said the trend isn't always safe or necessary. "IV drips...should mainly be used for medical reasons...Using them without proper medical advice can cause...infection, vein irritation, or electrolyte imbalance," the doctor said.
