Mawlawi Aslam Farooqi, the chief of Islamic State in Khorasan (ISIS-K), was arrested on Saturday by Afghan security forces on charges of orchestrating the attack on a Gurdwara in Kabul last month. At least 27 people were killed in the attack, including an Indian citizen. Pakistani national Farooqi was earlier associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Tehreek-e-Taliban terror group, reports said.
