The Supreme Court has ruled that ISKCON Bangalore was the rightful owner of Bengaluru's Hare Krishna temple. It set aside a Karnataka High Court judgment that ruled in favour of ISKCON Mumbai, which had argued that ISKCON Bangalore is merely its branch and thus an owner of the religious property. The court said ISKCON Bangalore is an independent legal entity.
