US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said Islamism is incompatible with the foundations of American freedom. Speaking at a public discussion, she stated, "When we understand that our freedom comes from God and no one else, we understand the seriousness of this Islamist ideology threat," adding that such ideologies deny this principle.
