Israel on alert for October 7, alleges Hamas attack plans

Israeli Defence Minister Katz put the military on high alert ahead of the October 7, citing intelligence of Hamas plans to attack Israeli forces in Gaza. He warned Hamas and Gaza's population would pay a "heavy price" if Israeli forces were harmed. At least two Palestinians were killed in strikes on Tuesday.
