Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the country intends to vaccinate 22.5 lakh or about a quarter of its population against COVID-19 within a month. He added that Israel's goal is to reach a vaccination rate of 1.5 lakh a day by the next weekend. Over 2.5 lakh people received the first dose of vaccine within the first week.
