Israeli Defence Ministry has announced that it has successfully completed the testing of a low-cost, anti-missile laser system, 'Iron Beam', which will be deployed later this year. "This is the first time in the world that a high-power laser interception system has reached full operational maturity," the ministry's DG Major General (Res.) Amir Baram said. It'll complement Israel's Iron Dome.
