Ambassador of Israel to India Naor Gilon wished people on Navratri and Durga Puja in a post written in Hindi. Sharing pictures of Israeli women amid war, Gilon wrote, "Just as Goddess Durga's strength conquered evil, our modern Durgas stand strong, and so will Israel in this fight against terrorism. Goodness will always prevail over evil."
