Israeli developer Maor Shlomo has sold his AI startup Base44 to Wix for $80 million in cash. The six-month-old startup came out of stealth in March this year and has six employees, who were all hired last month. Shlomo, who is the sole owner of the startup, revealed that Base44 is profitable and earned $189,000 in profit last month.
