The government-owned Israeli firm Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is likely to bag the Indian Air Force's ₹8000-crore deal for buying six second-hand aerial tanker planes, according to a report by ANI. IAI reportedly emerged as a single vendor in the competitive bid and agreed to incorporate around 30% Made-in-India content. These aircraft can refuel other aircraft while in flight.
