Hours after US President Donald Trump's announcement, Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu's office issued a statement welcoming the US-Iran ceasefire. "Israel supports President Trump’s decision to suspend strikes against Iran for two weeks, subject to Iran immediately opening the straits and stopping all attacks," it said. However, it added that the ceasefire does not extend to operations in Lebanon.
