Israeli President Isaac Herzog cancelled his trip to Azerbaijan's Baku, where he was slated to attend the COP29 climate change conference, due to "security concerns," his office said om Saturday. Herzog's visit to Azerbaijan, a country neighbouring Iran, was planned to be short, lasting only a few hours. Notably, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's residence was recently attacked with flare bombs.
