ISRO is set to launch Vyomitra, an AI-powered half-humanoid robot, aboard the uncrewed Gaganyaan G1 capsule in December 2025. Vyomitra will act as a human simulant, monitoring flight data, life-support systems and conditions inside the capsule. The mission aims to ensure astronaut safety and marks a big step for India’s human spaceflight programme.
