ISRO has opened the first scientific observation opportunity for the Aditya-L1 solar observatory, inviting Indian researchers to submit proposals under the Announcement of Opportunity (AO) cycle. The mission, launched in September 2023, was inserted into a halo orbit around the Sun-Earth Lagrange point L1 on January 6, 2024. More than 23 terabytes (TB) of mission data are already publicly available.
