The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch its first Venus Orbiter Mission (VOM), Shukrayaan-1, on March 29, 2028. Using the LVM-3 rocket, the spacecraft will take 112 days to reach Venus. VOM aims to study Venus's atmosphere, surface, and geological features including the planet's atmospheric composition, surface characteristics, and potential volcanic or seismic activity.
