ISRO to stop making any launch vehicle, all tech to be handed to private sector

Chairman of IN-SPACe Dr Pawan Goenka said ISRO will no longer manufacture launch vehicles, with private sector taking over their production. The transition is underway and will allow ISRO to focus on research and advance technologies, he said at Business Today's summit. LVM3, India's heaviest launch vehicle, will be handed over to private companies in next phase, he said.
