The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has launched XPoSat, India's inaugural X-Ray Polarimeter Satellite, to explore black holes. Launched from Sriharikota, XPoSat aims to deepen our understanding of these cosmic phenomena. With a five-year lifespan, it marks a significant step in space research, paralleling NASA's similar missions. ISRO plans 12 launches this year, setting new records.
