The Delhi High Court, while hearing a PIL seeking to change the name of Supreme Court metro station to 'Sarvoch Nyayalay', was told by DMRC that it'd cost ₹40-45 lakh of public funds. It further said that it could open the door to "multiple litigations" from commuters seeking similar renaming relief. However, the court rejected the financial argument.
