PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed the recently concluded India and UK Free Trade Agreement and Double Contribution Convention. The move will boost economic activity in India and will open new opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sectors, PM Modi said. The agreement is expected to boost bilateral trade between the two nations by ₹2.8-lakh crore/year from 2040.
