Police arrested Sangboi Kom Serto, a 40-year-old unemployed IT professional from Manipur, for allegedly attempting to rob a bank manager’s son at gunpoint. Serto, who posed as a courier delivery agent, was overpowered by the bank manager’s brother. Police said "This seems to be a case driven by financial desperation". Police recovered a licenced revolver, live rounds and a kukri.
