The bother of a soldier, Thomas Cherian, whose body was recently recovered from IAF AN-12 aircraft that crashed at Rohtang Pass in 1968, said, "It's been a long wait for the family." The aircraft was carrying 102 people. "His...pocket had a partially burnt book with his name, apart from his chest number, which helped identify [his body]," the brother said.
