Veteran poet-lyricist Gulzar has said that it was because of AR Rahman that the 'Jai Ho' song from the 2009 film 'Slumdog Millionaire' won an Academy Award in the Best Music (Original Score) and Best Music (Original Song) categories. "Although Sukhwinder Singh also contributed in making the song a hit by putting a lot of energy into it," added Gulzar.
