Italian fashion designer Giuliano Calza accused Shein, a Chinese online fast fashion retailer, of "stealing ideas". On Instagram, Calza posted pictures of his shoe design, which was available on the website, and asked shoppers to "boycott" the website or accept stealing and mediocrity. Shein has been embroiled in numerous copyright infringement lawsuits by designers and artists over the years.
