Scooter maker Piaggio's CEO Roberto Colaninno, who turned 80 few days ago, has passed away. His investment firm Immsi, which announced the news, didn't reveal the cause of death. The Italian entrepreneur gained fame in 1999 when his IT company Olivetti took over Telecom Italia (now known as TIM) for $58 billion, at the time the world's largest hostile takeover.
