ITBP team reaches 24,100-ft Mt Abi Gamin summit, unfurls Tricolour

A 23-member expedition team of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) reached the summit of 24,131-ft Mt Abi Gamin in Uttarakhand and unfurled the Tricolour. Led by Deputy Commandant Parikshit Shah, the expedition was conducted on September 16. The team spent several weeks training for the high-altitude climb before scaling the mountain, which is located in the Garhwal Himalayas.
