ITC shares fell 3% to a fresh 52-week low on Wednesday as investors reacted to higher cigarette taxes under the GST 2.0 regime. Brokerage Motilal Oswal said the revised tax structure, effective February 1, 2026, has increased cigarette taxes for ITC by around 60-65%, and remained cautious on the stock's near-term outlook.
