The Income Tax Department has clarified that the deadline for filing Income Tax Returns (ITRs) ends today (September 15). It dismissed reports that claimed that the department has extended the due date to September 30. "To assist taxpayers...our helpdesk is functioning on a 24x7 basis, and we are providing support through calls, live chats, WebEx sessions & Twitter/X," it said.
