Actress Lakshmi Manchu said she was excited to play a lesbian in the Malayalam film 'Monster' as she had never done such a role before. However, she added, "It was a sword which came with a double edge. You're always apprehensive these days about how your character is perceived...and (you see) how the audience will receive it."
