BMW Group India President Vikram Pawah has said that premium carmakers are penalised for bringing in the latest technologies to India, in the form of very high taxes. "It's not really easy to do business in India...Yes, everywhere there is a price difference between luxury and mass-market cars, but it's not as large as it is in India," he added.
