Article 370 figured prominently in the People's Democratic Party's election manifesto on Friday, ahead of the second phase of polling. Article 370 is being viewed as all-important " to empower the people of Jammu and Kashmir and help deal with the issues of identity, borders and governance". Interestingly, this point is put above the "self-rule" formula as well.
