J&K authorities have opened multiple gates at the Baglihar Hydroelectric Power Project Dam due to heavy rainfall in Doda, Kishtwar, & Ramban districts. This action is intended to safely manage increased water inflow and safeguard the dam's integrity. Continuous rainfall is also affecting the Salal Dam, prompting similar measures to control water levels and mitigate flooding risks for communities.
