Jammu and Kashmir has introduced a QR code-based identification system for all tourism service providers in Pahalgam. The system enables identification and verification of genuine and registered service providers, including pony-ride operators, hawkers, businesses and outside vendors, officials said. Pahalgam witnessed a terrorist attack on April 22 last year, which claimed the lives of 26 people.
