National Security Advisor Ajit Doval said terrorism in India has been effectively controlled, noting the last major attack outside Jammu and Kashmir occurred in 2013. "The facts are facts, and they cannot be disputed," he said. "Except for Jammu and Kashmir, which had been a theatre of a proxy war...for Pakistan...whole country has remained secure from terrorist attacks," he added.
