The J&K Finance Department has returned the approved file for medical interns’ stipend enhancement, causing widespread disappointment among MBBS, BDS, MD, and DNB interns. AIMSA’s Dr Momin Khan condemned the 11-month delay and urged immediate action. Interns, currently receiving ₹12,000, have long demanded a hike amid repeated assurances with no progress.
