J&K Police Head Constable Bashir Ahmed shot dead a terrorist after he was himself shot during an encounter in Kathua district. Ahmed later attained Veergati due to fatal injuries while two police officers were also injured in the encounter. The area has been cordoned off and an operation to kill the remaining terrorists is on, ADGP Jammu Anand Jain said.
