J&K techie builds free wildlife alert app after losing mother to bear attack

Mudasir Ali, a software engineer from Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar, has developed a free wildlife alert platform that alerts people when wild animals are reported near their homes. Ali began working on the app after his mother died in a bear attack in 2020. The platform sends alerts within a 2.5-kilometre radius and includes a live map displaying recent sightings.
