Nisha Devi from Kotli Bala village in J&K's Udhampur has turned from homemaker to dairy entrepreneur by utilising government benefit schemes. Using the government's subsidy of ₹7 lakh, she started with 14 cows and now has 20-25 Sahiwal cows (a high-yielding cow breed). Her farm produces over 100 litres of milk daily, along with desi ghee and GI-tagged Kaladi cheese.
