The US conducted test launch of an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, on Wednesday. This comes just days after US President Donald Trump ordered the Pentagon to immediately restart the process for testing nuclear weapons. US said the test evaluated ongoing reliability, operational readiness, and accuracy of the ICBM system.
