Film star Jackie Chan's visit to Vietnam for a charity event on November 10 has been cancelled after a backlash online reportedly due to China's claims in the South China Sea (SCS). The Chinese actor was to attend Operation Smile, a charity that gives free surgery to children with facial disfigurements. China's maritime claim within SCS overlap territories of Vietnam.
