Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper-opener Narayan Jagadeesan on Monday broke the world record for smashing the highest-ever score in a 50-over match. The 26-year-old slammed 277 runs off 141 deliveries against Arunachal Pradesh in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match to set the record. The previous record was set by Alistair Duncan Brown, who scored 268 runs for Surrey against Glamorgan in 2002.
