Lastweek, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin inaugurated Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover's new Ranipet facility, where JLR will produce up to 3 lakh vehicles annually, including ICE and EV models. The plant places India on JLR's global manufacturing map and is expected to create 5,000 direct jobs, with further expansion planned in multiple phases.
