Former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif was shifted to a hospital from a jail on Monday after his health began to deteriorate due to a low platelet count, reports said. "He is visibly unwell and has multiple serious life-threatening health issues," Sharif's personal physician Dr Adnan Khan tweeted. Low platelet count could be due to multiple pathologies, Dr Khan added.
