Congress leader Jairam Ramesh criticised the Centre following reports that the government is planning to sell off another 26% stake in Bengaluru-based Bharat Earth Movers Limited. He said the government is selling off the stakes as BEML "has huge land assets in and around Bengaluru". The government may soon invite financial bids for BEML's 26% stake sale, an official said.
