External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is one of the most proactive, productive, and efficient foreign ministers, Jason Hall, the High Commissioner of Jamaica to India said. Hall lauded Jaishankar after attending a session at IIT Varanasi. Speaking about visiting Varanasi, Jason Hall said, "Every time I come, I feel a renewed sense of optimism and faith in humanity."
