Punjab's former BJP chief calls for NIA probe into drug-gangster nexus

Former Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking a time-bound NIA probe into drug trafficking, gangsters, and arms networks in Punjab. He cited two cases, a convicted murderer who fled to Dubai on parole and a police constable arrested with 25kg heroin, alleging Pakistan-linked weapons and drug smuggling.
