In a proud moment for Punjab's Jalandhar, the owner of a city-based sports goods manufacturing company has been formally conferred with a doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in sports administration by Ecole Superieure Robert de Sorbon (ESRS), France. The degree was awarded to Amit Sharma, managing director of Spartan Sports Corporation.
