A 67-year-old man from Jalandhar has kept his daughter's memory alive through years of social service. 19 years after losing her in a road accident, Ramesh Mahendru runs the 'Alfa Mahendru Foundation', an NGO named after her, working on community welfare initiatives. The organisation continues to carry forward his daughter's name through acts of service and support.
