Jamalabad fort reopens for trekkers, 500 allowed daily

Jamalabad Fort, also known as Gadaikallu, in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada has reopened for tourists and trekkers after the monsoon entry ban was lifted. The Belthangady Wildlife Division has capped daily entry at 500 visitors, with advance registration mandatory. The fort requires trekkers to climb around 2,000 stone steps to reach the top and enjoy its scenic views.
